An ethnic-heritage.focus.tv represents the cultural and biological history of a group of human beings.  Knowing and understanding our ethnic heritage helps us to form an association with a large group of people.  Some people believe that our ethnic heritage is linked to our nationality and in the early days it was.  Colonial expansion led to global movements of populations resulting in multi-ethnic states.  Most of us can only trace our ancestors for a few generations but ground breaking work in the field on DNA testing now makes it possible to compare your DNA to a global database of human DNA and possibly discover relatives you did not know you had who may be of different ethnic groups.
